This week is National Police Week, and the Village of Cedarhurst proudly recognizes the dedication, professionalism, and service of the men and women of the Nassau County Police Department, especially those serving the 4th Precinct. Every day, our officers work to protect our community, respond when needed most, and help keep Cedarhurst running safely and smoothly. We thank them for their commitment, sacrifice, and the work they do for our residents, businesses, and visitors throughout the year. Please join us in showing appreciation to the officers who serve our Village and communities each day.

Can you believe it? Daylight saving time is around the corner. This weekend, we “spring forward” one hour – so don’t forget to change the time on your clocks Saturday night. It’s also a great way to remember to replace batteries in your smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.
