Luca and Anastasiia, c-type part of my book, Anxious To Please “I like feeling the edge of my body. I like to feel where my body ends. The play itself is always a bit of a mindfuck… ‘What are we doing?! Why are we like this?’ But I love it. I love the connection you have with someone, where you really trust them to do this to you. I like playing with that because I really struggle with trust. I like that it’s not just brutal; there is a lot of care all around it. You care for yourself by learning and respecting your own limits, you care for your play partner and respect their limits. You actually care and look out for each other a lot. Anastasiia, c-type From one of the early shoots for Anxious To Please. “Latex creates a possibility of transformation. For me, it’s not as much about a persona, but feeling like a completely different being on a physical level. I love the sensory elements of it: the way it clings to your skin so tightly, almost on the edge of discomfort, the petrol-like rubber smell. I enjoy the slow and deliberate ritual on both sides of this transformation. There is no easy way to get in and out of this special state. I am a very impatient person usually, and being intentional and careful with latex grounds me in my body and my pleasure.” - @anastasiia_fedorova
