I’ve been thinking about this quote a lot lately. I get decision paralysis sometimes, but I love this reframe. To me, it isn’t about racing against a clock or leaning into hustle culture - it’s just realising the clock keeps ticking regardless of what we choose to do. Don’t want to sound preachy, as I think I needed to hear the quote too. If we’re lucky the years are coming, and I think it would be nice to greet them with our sleeves rolled up. :) Would love to know what you think, or if you have any similar/opposing mindsets around this 💛 #tinylectures

feel-good files: week 19 -📍Paris !! (recs below!) this FGF is full of snaps from Paris 💌 we were only there for the weekend, but I took a million photos on my @campsnapcamera & didn’t go on my phone at all - it was so so nice. I’ve been quite full on and stressed with work either side of this, so while these are all very happy & joyful, it’s been a tumultuous week aaand this is definitely a highlight reel. 🩷 Some feel-good (mainly Pairisan) highlights: 1.🦪 dinner at @clamato_lounge - oh my GOLLY what a spot 2.🌸 beautiful Montmartre & sat by Canal Saint-Martin reading our kindles on the sunniest day ☀️ 3.☁️ little french doggy and this ⭐️ 4.🍫 pain au chocolat + coffees from @boulangeriemamiche >>> 5.👥 beautiful shadows and a little reminder 6.🍋 quick stop for a homemade lemonade 7.💐 always on a mission to flowers + sunlight 8.🥐 many baked goods were consumed and many sparkly vintage tops were tried on 🩷 9.👏 Yay! I used to be told ‘do it with good grace, or don’t do it at all’ growing up !! think this one applies to stuff that you know you ‘ought’ to do, but don’t really want to - this reminds me I have a choice, and as long as I’m choosing to do something, I can decide what my attitude is :) funny what you relate to in adulthood!! #tinylectures

feel-good files: week 17+18/52 (ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧ and I’ve got a new camera !! feel-good files: weeks 14 + 15 / 52 two-in-one weeks of feel-goodness :) and two very busy ones indeed! Here were some smiley moments: 🎉 blowing out my bday candles, surrounded by people I love !! 🍓 day trip to Cambridge to visit my bestie who has just finished her PhD. Shopping was done 🤝 this jumper didn’t come home with us xx 📚 cuddles from Maisie, kindle, sofa, Jam -> my fav combo :) 🎀 this made me lol ☀️ spring sunshine has been in full force! lucky us 🌊 nothing better than sunlight dancing on water 🧡 (gifted!) @humantra offered to send me some of their limited edition mango flavour… told them mum was obsessed and so they sent her some too. I read a quote recently that’s attributed to Mushumi Khan…it’s in lots of videos online, so it’s hard to track the origin! 🌸 It says: “Growing up is becoming who you were at 15, except this time, you like her.” It was my birthday last week, and this really resonated. I spent so long trying to edit the ‘chatty’ parts of myself, thinking maturity meant being quieter or taking up less space. But I’m not convinced that growing up is a linear departure from our younger selves; for me, it’s felt like more of a return. Do you have a trait you suppressed at 15 that you’re finally starting to like again? I’d love to hear it. ✨ #tinylectures
