Welcome to My Life / Made at Cartoon Network in better times (2016?!). And also we photographed Pali High for a lot of the backgrounds. @ianjq plays the bully, LMAO. And my brother plays Tkesh. The message of this short is even more solid today than when I made it. @teamto_studio did the animation and @nicodemuscross art directed. I would go on to work on City of Ghosts with Teamto, but not with Nick because he was solidly still at CN HAHA.

I had some thoughts on data, and how I’m trying to make sure less of mine is out there in this mess of a world. I wrote a newsletter about it— which you’d already know if you’re subscribed… think about it… but also I support your right to not subscribe to keep that data small šŸ¤ŸšŸ˜Ž /kikutowne/archive/what-data-do-i-even-need/

I might start editing more old phones and answering machines from old media into my karaoke videos because I get a kick out of it. The karaoke portion is Wonderwall, originally by Oasis. The intro clip is you’ll see…

I’m donating this avocado seed I sprouted to my kid’s school for their amazing garden that their amazing librarian @librarygal05 currently takes care of, and the only jar big enough to transport it from my house to down the block, was this giant kimchi container from Costco lmao. Multicultural situation that really encapsulates LA. Also I’m not putting it my own yard because I have 6 of these that I planted and I don’t have anywhere else to put another one. Since I started being successful with sprouting them, I’ve decided I’m never gonna stop??!? Anyway haha I have like 3 more in the early states… that are just starting to emerge… not sure where they’ll go after that haha!
