NUEVO EDIFICIO AMBULATORIO EN EL HOSPITAL ARNAU DE VILANOVA DE LLEIDA | 2026 | El hospital Arnau de Vilanova fue proyectado por el arquitecto García Mercadal en 1956, siendo un hospital de referencia dentro de los hospitales españoles. Con el tiempo se han ido incorporando una serie de alteraciones en el edificio, hasta llegar a la situación actual, que sitúa el acceso principal en la fachada opuesta al acceso original. Para conseguir minimizar estas disfunciones, el proyecto plantea una nueva imagen y un nuevo acceso en dos etapas diferenciadas. Por un lado, establece un gran atrio longitudinal que, a modo de rambla pública, soluciona varias conexiones entre los edificios existentes y plantea una nueva sección entre la planta de acceso actual y un nuevo acceso de peatones y vehículos, en un nivel inferior que da una nueva imagen en el acceso al edificio. En un extremo de esta rambla se levanta el nuevo edificio ambulatorio que soluciona el final de la rambla-atrio y dará fachada también a la cara norte. The inauguration of the new Can Comadran building brought together a vibrant crowd for a festive open-house day, marking the rediscovery of a former textile factory - now fully rehabilitated and filled with new life. The factory has been transformed into a new 1 500 m² multifunctional space, where historical elements of the building, such as the chimney and the boiler, have been preserved and integrated into a modern, energy-efficient design. Estructura d'acer i sostres de CLT, façanes i cobertes ventilades amb full interior lleuger acabades amb xapa d'alumini natural. Les ampliacions son geomètricament senzilles, i es col.loquen de la manera més òptima per a connectar-se amb les escoles existents, per ampliar-les fins a Escola-Institut. Steel structure and CLT roofs, ventilated facades and roofs with lightweight interior panels finished with natural aluminum cladding. The extensions are geometrically simple, and are positioned in the most optimal way to connect with the existing schools, to expand them into a high school.
