I am beyond honored to participate in the next installment of @j.tsang ‘s lovely “hello, at last” music series on April 23. I will be playing duo with Eleonore Oppenheim, a formidable bassist who I have never even met. Nope, no rehearsal allowed — that’s the “hello” part. Each episode of the series pairs two musicians who have never collaborated before, meeting sonically for the first time. live. The “at last” half of the program showcases someone returning to a project after some time away. All this to say, the series is simultaneously the warmest and most adventurous kind of community-building, a potent dose of the kind of NYC weirdness that keeps us all hanging around. Also, this is the final installment at its current home, the cozy @_archestratus_
Excerpt from my solo set @reforesters.io on the equinox. I’m grateful to have been able to share this music, especially in such an intimate and sonically unique space. Thanks to all the sweet friends who came out! Special shout out to @chloealxandra & @legoldston for exploring new sound worlds with me on the second set.

Grateful to be working with these extraordinary artists, and the opportunity to mix for an ambisonic system is expanding how I think about sound. Excited to share the results with y’all.
