2026 OTB Open Amateur Weekend Update:
Over the course of the day, wind conditions in Stockton escalated beyond safe operational limits. After consulting with local officials, event staff, and weather experts, we have determined that the severe wind poses a significant safety risk to our players, staff, and spectators. We have suspended play for the remainder of the Amateur event.
To all of our participants, we are profoundly sorry. We know how much time, energy, and travel planning goes into competing at the OTB Open. To have the weekend cut short by uncontrollable weather is incredibly disappointing for all of us. This decision was not made lightly, but your safety will always be our paramount priority.
