Das Duo OSZILOT lässt sich von der Vorstellung leiten, dass Gegenständen ein eigener Geist innewohnt. Die beiden statten Spüli-Flaschen, Angelrouten, Gummiherzen und Holzhocker mit Sensoren aus, die jede Bewegung in Klang übersetzen. So schaffen sie skurrile Pendel-Performance-Konstruktionen die Klang, Physik, Installationskunst und Musiktheater miteinander vereint: ein Mobile als analoge Drum-Machine, ein gespenstisches Luftballett, in dem sich die Performer und ihre scheinbar unbelebten Objekte wortlos verständigen. They equip washing-up liquid bottles, fishing rods, rubber hearts and wooden stools with sensors that translate every movement into sound. Indoing so, they create a bizarre pendulum performance construction that combines sound, physics, installation art and musical theatre: a mobile as an analogue drum machine, a ghostly air ballet in which the performers and their seemingly inanimate objects communicate without words. 'Altar verlorener Dinge' is a kinetic 5-channel sound installation consisting of small motors, found objects, organic remains (skeletons, plant remains, dead beetles), discarded electronic components, and sensors.
