Today, May 1, Homecoming, a short documentary film directed by Yarema Malashchuk and Roman Khimei, will have its world premiere at the International Short Film Festival Oberhausen.
On this occasion, we are sharing the film’s poster, designed by Ostap Yashchuk

The film captures how, several years after being forced to leave Ukraine due to the Russian invasion, Yaroslav returns home through a robotic dog — his mechanical avatar, which he controls from a room in Poland. Through this remote presence, the young man revisits memories and re-establishes a connection with his past, now dependent on a fragile video transmission that could break at any moment.
