These past few days felt so good. So simple. Just being there again with childhood friends, like nothing really changed, and at the same time, everything did.
Some friendships don’t fade. They just grow, quietly and beautifully. We all know, deep down, how precious and timeless these bonds are. They hold our memories, our laughter, and little pieces of who we used to be.
Under our bed at home, Ossa and I decided to change the place of one of our favorite pieces.
This photograph was taken in Bora Bora, early in the morning. Shot on film, we captured a few frames (we had our tripod with us), and some time ago we enlarged and framed it.
Even though we still admire the views of Mount Otemanu, there is something deeply warm about seeing this image at home. We don’t photograph every shoot, every moment - stories come and go, but they will never replace real images.
Images matter. They hold our memories, our stories, our people. Seeing them from time to time reminds us of what surrounds us every day - and what we choose to keep close.
