I teamed up with one of my favorite brands @newfrontierbrand by a couple of my favorite people @joshua_ravenscraft@jaredravenscraft to come up with a signature hat. The hat features my #1 bass, Purdy. I bought the 1962 Fender Precision Bass in 2014 ahead of the recording sessions for Traveller and it has been in the studio and on stage with me ever since. 100% of the net proceeds will go to Chris and Morgane’s @osok charity fund. Last week’s #KentuckyRising benefit concert raised over $2.5 million for flood relief in Eastern Kentucky. 🙌 The sold-out event held at Lexington’s Rupp Arena featured performances from Eastern Kentucky-natives @chrisstapleton , @dwightyoakam , and @timmytychilders as well as special surprise guests Patty Loveless, @rickyskaggs , @s.g.goodman , and University of Kentucky football coach, Mark Stoops.
The over $2.5 million raised will benefit the “Kentucky Rising Fund” to support flood relief in Eastern Kentucky. Working strategically with the Blue Grass Community Foundation, the “Kentucky Rising Fund” will use the entirety of those funds to support both immediate needs and long-term recovery projects as they emerge.
