“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.” Colossians 3:23
At King’s, we love the game of basketball. Yet, our OSBA program was always about much more.
It was about striving for excellence in all we do, respecting that the pursuit of excellence is a way to grow with gratitude, compete with a bigger purpose, reflect God’s goodness, and glorify Him.
To every player who wore the jersey: thank you. You gave your time, your energy, your heart. You experienced incredible wins, tough losses, you were challenged to improve everyday, you created relationships that will last forever, you honoured God with the skill He gave you. You are part of something that will last far beyond your time here. We are proud of each of you. Not just for where you went after King’s Christian, but for who you’ve become along the way.
To every coach who poured into this program: thank you. Your leadership, patience, and commitment to these athletes and this program have been essential in making this program what it became.
These pictures tell part of the story.
The legacy you leave tells the rest.
We have decided that 2026 will be the final year for the OSBA program at King’s. Looking back, we are humbled and grateful. To God be the Glory.
