Bronze Faces, the collected book is out March 31st! The graphic novel features the story of Sango and His Two Warrior Heroes, depicted with 6 myth illustrations that mirror the story of our 3 Nigerian protagonists as they try to steal and return the Benin Bronzes from the British Museum to Nigeria. These myth illustrations are inspired by the real world Benin plaques' visual language.

📽 Here's some footage of my ✍🏿drawing (realised in collaboration with the MEN) for the 📦 "Butins" container at the Musée d'Ethnographie de Neuchâtel's @musee_ethnographie_neuchatel ongoing exhibition (now extended till the 18th of January 2026) titled 💵📦🛳️ "Cargo Cults Unlimited".
My drawing for the "Butins" container focuses on the economic aspects of a Benin 🖼 Ama (plaque) depicting a 🇵🇹 🪖🗡 Portuguese soldier, highlighting the Ama's (plaque's) 🔄 journey/transformation, as well as several major crises in human history directly related to its circulation.
-----------
💵📦🛳️ The "Cargo Cults Unlimited" exhibition is centered around the theme of the globalized economy. Overall, It features a very impressive Scenography (S/O to @raphaelvonallmen and Anna Jones of Curious Space Ltd.). The exhibition is set in a make-shift maritime freight port overlooked by offices/control rooms. Each container within the maze-like layout of the exhibition features its own unique installation addressing diverse topics relating to the globalalized economy (production and circulation of goods and services). Kindly stop by to see the exhibition if you get a chance.
