Today, myself, the Executive Chairman of Ndokwa East Council, Hon Chief Vincent Osilonya, and other distinguished individuals had the honour of attending the Ashaka Fitness Walk. The fitness walk, which was aimed at promoting peace, unity, and healthy living within the Ashaka community, brought together people from different walks of life in a remarkable display of togetherness and community spirit. It was truly inspiring to witness the enthusiasm and solidarity shared among participants as we collectively supported an initiative that encourages harmony, wellness, and social cohesion within the community.

Today marks a historic milestone as the Executive Governor of Delta State, H.E. Elder Sheriff F.O. Oborevwori, performed the groundbreaking ceremony of the 140m Okiri Bridge and the 11km Aboh–Akarai concrete road.
Words are not enough to express my profound gratitude to His Excellency for this monumental project. My decision to join politics and run for office was largely inspired by the need for this very road, and in less than three years in office, the Governor has graciously fulfilled the long-standing dreams and aspirations of the people and communities along this corridor.
This achievement has restored hope, not only to the people of Aboh and Akarai, but also to residents of Ward 6, parts of Ward 8 and Ward 9.
We may not have silver or gold to show our appreciation, but in the words of Idi Amin “we shall retaliate” come 2027 and beyond.

Today was a solemn and reflective day.
I paid a visit to my friend and brother, Engr. Philip Ugbomah Chukwuma, at his residence in Asaba to commiserate with him on the passing of his beloved mother a few weeks ago. My thoughts and prayers remain with him and his family during this difficult time.
Thereafter, I proceeded to Obior in Aniocha North LGA to attend the funeral mass of our dear leader and former Deputy Governor of Delta State, H.E. Benjamin Elue. It was a moment to honor a life of service and dedication.
Finally, I joined the Speaker’s delegation at the burial ceremony of Mrs. Maria Aliam Okonji in Ogwashi-Uku. Mama Maria, the mother-in-law of Hon. Dr. Isaac Anwuzia, member representing Aniocha South Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, will be remembered for the legacy she leaves behind.
May the souls of the departed rest in perfect peace. Amen.

Yesterday, the 13th of March, marked a historic moment for the Ndoshimili Progressive Youths as we successfully held the National/LGA Executive Inauguration in Ashaka, Ndokwa East LGA.
The event was greatly honored by the presence of our father and Special Guest of Honour, the immediate past Governor of Delta State, HE Sen. Dr. Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa. We were also privileged to have the Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Dennis Guwor as Chairman of the occasion, while Chief Godwill Obielum served as the Father of the Day. The event attracted many other distinguished personalities from different walks of life who came to support and encourage the vision of the Ndoshimili Progressive Youths.
A major highlight of the event was the special recognition and honour bestowed on Chief Godwill Obielum for his remarkable leadership and for the role he has continued to play in creating opportunities for the youths of Ndoshimili in government, while consistently projecting young people into various leadership positions.
I sincerely appreciate the immediate past Governor, HE Sen. Dr. Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa, for blessing the occasion with his presence and for taking the time to speak and inspire our youths. My profound gratitude also goes to the Rt. Hon. Speaker for charging the youths with his words of encouragement and for performing the inauguration.
I equally thank our leaders, associates, friends, and supporters who contributed in no small measure to the success of this event. Finally, I commend all members of the Ndoshimili Progressive Youths (NPY) for their commitment, dedication, and belief in this noble cause as we continue to work together for the progress and development of our people.
