I graduated from @cschcolorado Clinical Herbalism program at Beltane, under a Scorpio Full Moon, on the most delicious Spring day, right before what I know will be the most beautiful/challenging year of my life. Last May things looked very different — and I am grateful to the friends, family, mentors, stories, flora/fungi/fauna, Saturnian strife, failed attempts at change, real transformation in its wake, debauchery, and the Zoloft for getting me here.

My thesis presentation is almost here! I have spent countless loving hours exploring the cosmological inclinations of herbal medicine and I want to tell you about what I’ve learned. Now more than ever, we are called to orient ourselves to networks more expansive than the oppressor would like us to believe. If plants, planets, ancient systems of medicine, personal alchemy, or my sardonic Scorpio humor are your thing, please join me next Sunday, either in-person or virtually. We will deep dive into the astrological origins of herbalism, explore the zodiacal and planetary significations of plants, and even look at some chart examples to understand the nativity as a tool for herbalist assessment.
It feels insane to be promoting anything other than the intensified resistance to fascism, but I stand firm in my belief that herbs and astrology both have a place in the revolution, namely in caretaking the very bodies that must stand in resistance. My practice is rooted in this idea, and my presentation will not circumvent it.
