These were two of our favorite shows, shot seven months apart.
The first was on April 5, 2025 — the night our debut album Medication For A Modern World dropped (and also my birthday). Anyone who knows me knows I always make it a point to be working on my birthday. The second was captured seven months later during the tour.
Same band. Same songs. Different energy.
Personally, this was my favorite venue we played. Intimate but alive, tucked away in a place you’d never expect — which feels very New York to me. The format was perfect for us because live-streaming was how this band started in the first place. We also met people there who eventually became part of our crew.

Between playing music and getting to see the bands you love almost simultaneously and doing it with the right people... yeah, lite is good right now. As good as it can be.
Still, really looking forward that some time off in the Fall, though 😏
It’s been a minute since I’ve taken a moment for myself and simply stopped moving. Not in an unproductive way, but in the sense that I finally let my mind go quiet for a second. We played NYC last night, and now we have a brief pause before hitting the road again.
It all started with a new coffee spot near us. We’ve been based in Connecticut for almost three and a half years, and between writing and recording our debut album, rehearsing, touring, and building something from the ground up, we haven’t had much time to just explore the town we live in.
Today, Danielle and I took advantage of the unusually warm weather in this bipolar month I was born in and stumbled onto a place that absolutely delivered. Since 2020, we’ve had a thing for honey lavender lattes, and somehow we finally found a spot that knocks it out of the park.
Maybe part of why today felt so meaningful is because so much has been happening. Orphan Prodigy recently broke the Top 40 on the Mediabase charts, which is one of those milestones you work toward for years, then barely give yourself time to process when it finally happens.
You’re probably thinking I’m rambling about coffee, but that’s kind of the point. I’m taking the scenic route for once. When you spend your life creating, performing, and trying to give people something real at a high level, the meandering starts to make sense.
So the story is, there is no story. Just a beautiful day, good coffee, hours spent listening to music, and a rare chance to let the moment sink in.
No regrets.
