FLEAS is a long-term project, a political elegy aimed especially at young people, questioning the importance and fragility of the construction of individual thinking - free, critical and independent - in relation to our time and history, the key to seeking the truth of ourselves.

STRATI
Unique artist-books
Photocopied on different original popular works, 21x29,5cm
Silkscreened box, 24,5x32cm
.
The artist books consist of images (photographs + prints; analogic 35 mm black and white corroded due to the use of expired film and fixing treatments and potassium ferricyanide + mothers; artworks created by photocopying directly onto 16mm celluloid film) of faces and market memorabilia displayed in relation to and superimposed on re-edited pages of old popular works (history, geography, philosophy, religion, magic, natural sciences, art, cinema manuals) collected at the market.
AUDIOVISUAL PERFORMANCE
16mm projectors, super8 projector, contact mics, pedals, found materials, mushrooms. Field recordings designed Davor Sanvincenti.
The images undergo a transformation through the photocopying process.
Traces and fragments accumulate as layers, unfolding within a multi-projection, where the narrative expands through found footages from amateur reels to institutional archives, mold and mushrooms. Sound emerges as an improvised dialogue: field recordings from the market form the basis for Sergej Vutuc’s performative intervention. Through the physical and acoustic engagement with the projectors, sound and images converge oscillating between mechanical rhythm, spatial vibration, and embodied gesture.
SILKSCREEN ARTWORKS
Various sizes of photographs and mothers printed on maps, old newspapers, letters, postcards, engravings collected through time at the market realised in collaboration with Orme Studio and 56 Fili, Rome.
