I wrote the exhibition text for @kasiawozniak’s utterly beautiful Incubator show in June. Taking its title from T.S. Eliot’s poem Burnt Norton, Stillpoint sees the photographer reflect on this moment in her life through three subjects of humdrum mundanity and cross-cultural symbolic fascination – eggs, stones, and the self. Congratulations Kasia, and thank you @angelica.jopling and @mackintoshbella !

For the July issue of Wallpaper*, I spoke to the brilliant @nur_light about his mission for @goldwin_0 – the experimental arm of cult technical-wear label Goldwin. Was fascinating learning about the futuristic advancements that happen in the brand’s factory in the Japanese countryside, where bacteria grow protein-based yarns and slime moulds are studied to pioneer new biodegradable fabrics. Had the immense pleasure of speaking to Jeff Wall as his new retrospective opens in Lisbon. Looking back at his four decade career, the Canadian artist spoke about the making of his confronting images and why his work is best experienced at life scale. “I never set out to make big photos just because I thought big photos were cool,” he told me. “It came from looking carefully at painting. Paintings have been around for thousands of years and there are a lot of good ones. There’s a lot to be learned by looking at why they’re good.” Read on @anothermagazine

The designer and half of @stefan_cooke told me about running his family’s market stalls on the south coast as a teen, making bomber jackets from battered horse blankets and how reading Oliver Twist has made him want to open a permanent store on Leather Lane.
