Poems Between Persons with @rainbowbedfordshire Bedfordshire in the Bar 🌈

Join the Rainbow Bedfordshire Writing Group in this interactive and collaborative writing workshop where we will consume, discuss and construct poetry together ✨
Welcoming writers of any experience (and none at all), this workshop explores poetry’s real-world potential to spark reflection, expression and connection within our communities.
You can expect: highlighters, post-its, play, curiosity, kindness, kinship and naturally… poems 💛
There will be a range of ways to engage and contribute, with no ‘correct’ way to approach the session…only what you might take from it.
This workshop takes place on Thursday 23rd July in The Bar at 15:30PM - 16:30PM

@rainbowbedfordshire has been an essential part of my life for nearly 4 years. Since my first involvement when performing at the arts and wellbeing event in 2022, they've always been welcoming, accommodating and continue to put inclusion at the heart of their very being.
Was a mightily odd but pleasant experience coming up as a group/ensemble/gang/fam to collect the award for community inclusion, especially as @gigbuddiesbedford and @inclusive.performingarts perform such a vital role in smashing access barriers too (as @thefizzbomber said, we're all like a family of sorts, which is true as nobody remembers my birthday and Christmas is always awkward).

It was a beautiful collection of expression and passion which left us filled with so much pride, these artists are truly exceptional and all contributed to the magic atmosphere created on that night.
SO we are looking to fill our next events line up with more wonderful performance art... music, comedy, spoken word, multimedia, anything you heart desires
