A month ago, we gathered for the first screening and exhibition of Sacred Landscapes, a documentary project developed during the Connecting the Dots Fellowship by the Goethe Institute; exploring nature, cultural memory, spirituality and beauty of Eastern Nigeria. The accompanying exhibition featured images, symbolic patterns, and soundscapes drawn from the communities, caves, and temples that shaped this work. Thank you to everyone who came out for the first screening, your presence made it so special. And to the friends, elders, collaborators, and hosts who supported this vision: I’m endlessly grateful 🤍 This is just the beginning! I look forward to sharing this project with a larger audience 💫 #SacredLandscapes #documentary #nature #memory #culturalpreservation

The Ghana National Mosque, completed in 2020, is a beautiful replica of the famous Blue Mosque, with exquisite detailing and ornamentation. Its beautiful design and architecture, sadly in no way showcases any Ghanaian influences in it

Grateful for the incredible energy and support at the Sacred Landscapes screening in Aba! 🌿✨ It was an honor to share this journey of memory, heritage, and sacred spaces with the community, especially the amazing youth who came out to engage in meaningful conversations. I’m excited to continue this journey and look forward to sharing the project with an even larger audience very soon. 🌍🎬 #SacredLandscapes #filmscreening #outdoorcinema #communityengagement #CulturalMemory #IntangibleHeritage #SacredSpaces #ComingSoon

The Awhum Waterfall Cave is located in Awhum, Enugu. Deep in a serene forest, it was discovered by monks who established a nearby monastery due to its believed healing properties as well as its maintenance. it attracts pilgrims from far and wide seeking spiritual comfort. The cave is at about 30 meters high with the water flowing at great force before flowing out and merging with the river. #AwhumWaterfall #Enugu #waterfalls
