Día de los Niños pt.5 From the bottom of my heart, I am beyond blessed to have had the opportunity to organize once again and of course with some new folks @organicbilly @demo.ramirez @mrfabulousdjfmchicago @rosio_z @d_zambranojr @stylesp25 @davidestrada25 @juan.man13 Saturday was absolutely incredible and I’m still getting compliments and feedback from what we were able to create. We are just people from the community wanting to come together and do something for the Community, and so for that I am beyond grateful for the networks that I have along with my friends and family who came out to really make this day possible! From everyone who supported with the fundraiser to everyone, to ensuring that we had all hands-on deck for the day of, ya’ll really are amazing! Cannot wait for next year!

Día de los Niños 2026 – Parte 2 💛 (Organizaciones y Recursos) Una de las cosas más bonitas de este día fue ver cómo nuestra comunidad se hizo presente no solo para divertirse, sino también para compartir recursos, apoyo y cuidado para nuestras familias. ✨ Muchísimas gracias a las organizaciones que estuvieron presentes brindando información y conectando con la comunidad: 🤝 RINCÓN Family Services 🤝 SGA 🤝 WIC 🤝 Dolly Parton Imagination Library 🤝 Erie Neighborhood House 🤝 Open Books Mobile Chicago Su presencia importa. La información, las conversaciones y los recursos que compartieron hacen una gran diferencia más allá de un solo día. Un agradecimiento muy especial a @beyondtheball por hacer posible la presencia de @don_pepe_little_village Restaurant de Little Village 🫶🏽, y @davidestrada25 y Amy de @enlace.chicago por proporcionar chips, agua y juguetes para nuestras familias. Día de los Niños 2026 – Part 1 💛 Still taking in these moments… looking through the photos my brother captured and honestly, I don’t think one post can fully hold everything this day meant. But this is a glimpse. This is what happens when a few people from Little Village come together with love for the neighborhood. ✨ We’re so grateful to every single family that showed up. Every child left with a toy (and we even had some left over 🥹), and every person was fed—tacos, nachos, hot dogs, chips, cotton candy, popcorn… full hearts and full bellies all around. From the 5 piñatas to the bounce house, to the laughter filling the gym—it was everything we hoped for and more. Huge thank you to some of the members from the Divine Mercy Youth Group for holding it down with the carnival games, and to all the organizations and partners who showed up with resources, time, and care for our community—you made this possible. This weekend we hope the hood comes out to enjoy the carnival! We put a lot of effort to curate a safe and fun environment for the shorties! BRING YOUR KIDS!!! We will have carnival games, sweets treats, food, live entertainment, raffles, prizes, face painting, and fun activities for the entire family. Last night was absolutely incredible! Truly a successful event 💛🙏🏽🫶🏽 I want to give a huge shoutout to everyone who came out to support our Día de los Niños fundraiser. This wouldn’t have been possible without the love and generosity of yall. @mrfabulousdjfmchicago thank you for keeping us on our feet. It’s always fun and good times on the dance floor, each time you spin. Special thank you to everyone who contributed to the raffle prizes- gear from Benny with @lavillitabasketball , @biglarry1745 from Definitive Selection, @marimedina60 for the beautiful self-care basket, and @demo.ramirez for the bottle and shirt on behalf of @madeinchitownwithlove @stylesp25 thank you for gifting our lucky winner a free haircut and or braids! An even bigger round of applause for Chef Greg! Thank you so much for allowing us to host our fundraiser @lapatronachicago . The food was absolutely incredible. If you’re in the neighborhood don’t forget to stop by. You will not be disappointed! @organicbilly you’re always a terrific MC and helping bring such great energy to the space! I know we had folks who sponsored tickets and provided a donation, because you all helped us reach our goal and just knowing that everyone’s generosity is gonna help go a long way for the kids.
