Spring is here! 🌸 As more people enjoy walking, biking, and using public transport, let's practice patience and stay alert on the roads, so we can all get to where we are going safely. 🚶 🚴 🚗.
Oregon streets are for everyone. Drive respectfully, notice your surroundings and the people sharing the road with you.
If someone is showing intent they'd like to cross, that's your cue to stop and let them pass safely.
Not all streets are smooth or fully accessible, so it's important to give extra time and space to those who need it.
Be patient. Be aware. Be an Oregon Friendly driver.

Always remember to stop before a crosswalk to give pedestrians a safe space to walk. Safe driving means caring for others on the road, just as you'd want them to do for you. Let's promote courteous driving for a safer community for everyone.

Make sure to know your surroundings before making a turn. People riding bikes on the wrong side of the street, or people riding bikes blocked by other vehicles, can be hard to see and unpredictable. Take an extra second to ensure you have a clear path to keep everyone on the streets safe. #OregonFriendlyDriver #inOregon #OregonRoads #RoadSafety #Biking #Walking #Driving
