A new World Cup destination, a new chapter for the team.
South Korea hosted the opening round of the season with a brand new track and a full week of work on and off the bike.
Great atmosphere all week and amazing support from the fans.
On to the next one.

At the very edge of what’s possible.
In one of the toughest World Cups of recent years, riders pushed through relentless weather and gave everything they had in South Korea. Effort, resilience, and commitment in their purest form.
Proud of the work behind every effort, and ready to see them line up again at the next World Cup.

South Korea, delivered one of the toughest season openers we’ve had in a long time.
Heavy rain, deep mud and extremely demanding conditions turned today’s XCO into a real battle from start to finish.
@jennjacksonxc opened her season with an incredible ride to P4, securing the team’s first podium of the season after battling at the front in brutal conditions all race long.
@rebeccahenderson.27 pushed through the chaos and difficult terrain to finish P31, while in the men’s race @simon_andreassen crossed the line in P27 and @pierre_de_froidmont finished P49 after a brutally physical day on track.
Now the focus shifts to Nove Mesto.

High speeds, steep sections and loose terrain make braking one of the biggest factors on a track like this in South Korea.
Confidence under braking becomes critical when conditions keep changing lap after lap and the margins get smaller at World Cup pace.
Having the @shimanoMTB XTR brakes you can trust makes all the difference when the speeds keep getting higher.

EMIL THE MECHANIC — EP.1
A new World Cup venue means starting from zero.
New suspension setups, new lines, new terrain and a lot of data to analyze before race day.
Together with @ridefoxbike , Emil spent the week running back-to-back tests, collecting full lap data and fine tuning every detail to understand exactly what the riders need on track.
The goal is simple: build a complete setup library throughout the season and make precise decisions at every World Cup round.
Small changes. Big differences.

More moments from XCC race day in South Korea.
Short track always means full gas racing, constant battles and a paddock moving at full speed all day long.
Behind every race there are also long days, a lot of unseen work from the staff and months of preparation from the riders to be ready for weekends like this.
Tomorrow it’s time for XCO.
We’ve worked hard over the last few months for moments like these and we’re ready to give everything once again.

The first XCC World Cup of the season is done.
Fast, intense and with absolutely no time to breathe from the first lap.
The team fought until the very end on a tough and physical South Korea track, with Rebecca taking a strong P9 after battling at the front for most of the race.
Rebecca P9
Jenn P14
Pierre P30
Simon P34
One more day to go.
