@kjkristyjean dropping so many truth nuggets ✨ “I’ve found there’s a magic in writing down my thoughts.” Girl, SAME—which is why this post exists! There were WAY more quotes and lessons in her book than I could fit here, so you’ll have to read it and see what resonates with you! 🩷💛💜 Written in multiple parts as part-memoir/part-letters to herself, Kristy begins by retelling the story of The Giving Tree (hence why the cover looks like a tree stump😉🪵). The Giving Tree didn’t have boundaries, and she didn’t have anything left to give, but the author doesn’t want that for us! With brutally honest truths (and language!), Kristy shares how she grew in her boundaries and how we might do the same for ourselves. Readers will learn a lot, laugh out loud, and connect with the author’s experiences of building boundaries that lead to a loving and balanced life. Brought to you by @ten16press an imprint of @orangehatpublishing 📖✨

Umber and Belina Small steps! That is what Melina Bee teaches Umber to take to conquer her fear of the slippery kitchen floor. Small steps- that is what we all need to remember when tackling something new or something that frightens us. It was refreshing to read that Umber did not succeed the first time she attempted to cross the kitchen floor. Belina suggested taking even smaller steps and that helped. Our students often give up when the task is too large or even the steps seem overwhelming. I think this part will really resonate with kids as they try new learning in class. Is on my To Read list for my 2nd grade SEL lessons before the end of the school year. Thanks @alexandra.ng.author for sharing your new book with me! Sunday, May 3rd, was a time to celebrate. Celebrate lives that have been transformed and relationships that have changed everything. ‘Well Moments: Stories Inside a Greenhouse for People’ is a book that captures the heart of who Hope Street is and why we do what we do. So often we’re asked, “What is the greatest need”—and it’s for more people to hear our story. We’ve been around for 27 years, and not a day goes by that people have said, “I didn’t know you were here. I didn’t know that this was happening.” Now is your chance to hear the stories inside the greenhouse and share them with the people that you love. So thank you for those who were able to join us. To celebrate the opportunity to share these stories has just begun. To purchase the book, you can follow the link in our bio or stop by Hope Street! We have also created an intentional way for you to share these stories with your family. There is a kids’ book ‘Well Moments for Kids’ made especially for little ones to understand the Greenhouse for People. These are also available on our website, through the link in our bio. Do you have a small group? We would love for you to engage with our chapter book through an intentional workbook experience. We have a limited number of printed copies for sale, as well as a PDF download available. However you choose to engage, we are thankful and encouraged by your support! 💚 Thank you to our publisher, Orange Hat Publishing. @orangehatpublishing 💚Thank you for hosting this beautiful event @hopharvestvine 💚 Thank you for the incredible photos @photographybydezaray
