Carolina Brewery Chapel Hill
"This is one of the best bar experiences I’ve ever had. The food was incredible especially the potato chip nachos. Everyone loved what they had. The bar itself was nice with good seating, ambience and a variety of different seating types. Perfect to watch a game or hangout with friends. Our servers Aidan and Hailey were amazing they were so helpful and kind. We never felt rushed and they were very attentive to our needs!"

Hillsborough is mourning the loss of a beloved local companion, Theo, the cherished dog of Mayor Mark Bell and his family, who passed away last week following a brief illness.
Known throughout the community for his friendly spirit and gentle presence, Theo was a familiar and welcome sight around town—greeting neighbors, visiting local businesses, and bringing smiles to residents and visitors alike. His joyful energy and loyal companionship made him more than a family pet; he became a small but meaningful part of the fabric of Hillsborough.
Theo will be deeply missed by the Bell family and by a community that came to know and love him.
About 200 people came out to Moorefields on Saturday for the Hillsborough Jazz Festival—and what a day it was. The Sam Fribush Trio brought the energy, the Angela Bingham Quartet delivered the soul, and the Durham Jazz Workshop students showed off some serious talent.
Between the music, artisan vendors, food trucks, and cold drinks, it felt like a lively jazz afternoon. Friends gathered with chairs and blankets, soaking it all in and enjoying the laid-back, family-friendly vibe. @whupfm
