So, there’s a cool indie-video-game called “100 Lil Jumps” by @koliaogames , and a while ago, the game's soundtrack composer @grayson_varn reached out to me, along with a handful of other artists, to see if we’d like to contribute remixes of his soundtrack, to create an alternative soundtrack of sorts.
The album features a very cool roster of ambient and electronic musicians (Chëa, Frank Sharon, Conner Jude, Yann Van Der Cruyssen, Kill All Idols, Zuriel Chico, and Disasterpeace), and takes the listener on an immersive trip through the subterranean world of 100 Lil Jumps.
Whether you’re familiar with the game or not, I strongly recommend you give this album a spin, especially if you’re in the mood for a contemplative, and soothing listening experience.

I bought the @modartt_official Syngular model for Pianoteq. This is a very curious and interesting instrument. I was a little sceptical as at first as I thought the promo video sounded a bit like generic FM tones circa mid-80s, but upon further investigation, it's so much more.
It brings the unrivalled and immersive tonal-dynamic playing experience of Pianoteq to the world of synthesis and definitely offers things I've not come across on a synth before; a nuanced subtlety (through touch expression) that makes this feel very different to any other synth I've played.
Things get even more sublime when you start morphing Syngular with some of the other models, such as the Electric Pianos and Felt Pianos.
It's probably not for the casual synth user, as the parameters, terminology and tone-shaping ethos is rather detailed and unique (a ground-upwards tone-building approach, like the DX7, but with many more advanced modelling parameters, and very little in common with subtractive synthesis).
If you're familiar with how the acoustics of piano work, and you're into sound design, this is a must have! I can foresee myself using this a lot in my future work.
Modartt never fail to disappoint and I'm excited to see if they take this concept further in the future. 👏🏼
