At Sydney charity @localkindnb , they’re often the last place someone turns when they have nowhere left to go. Sometimes something as simple as mobile data can be the bridge back to safety, stability and hope. Through the Donate Your Data program, unused data from Optus customers becomes a lifeline for people experiencing homelessness, domestic violence, or starting a new life in Australia. Internet access means being able to: • Fill out rental forms. • Contact a support service. • Keep kids connected at school. • Stay safe. It’s the small things that make the biggest difference. Your spare data can change a life. Donate your data now, details in our bio.

Digital safety is non-negotiable in today’s classrooms, but how we teach it really matters! What we love about Optus Digital Thumbprint workshops is how interactive they are. Students work through games and activities (not just videos), at their own pace or as a whole class, with built-in opportunities for discussion and differentiation. They’re aligned to the Australian Curriculum, include clear teacher guides, and offer pre and post quizzes for assessment, making them genuinely easy to use in real classrooms. It is endorsed by the eSafety Commissioner as a Trusted eSafety Provider program. Designed to help students become safe, confident and ethical digital citizens. This one truly earns a spot in the timetable. Want to explore Optus Digital Thumbprint workshops for your students? On 10 February, students celebrated Safer Internet Day with awesome workshops from the Optus Digital Thumbprint Program. Our facilitators were in school across the country, and we ran a special online event for primary students. They even scored a surprise visit from the 2025 Supercars Champion @chazmozzie , who jumped on the call to share his inspiring No Social Hate campaign ahead of race weekend @walkinshawtwgracing 💬💙 Navigating the online world responsibly is one of the biggest challenges young people face today, and that’s exactly why our Digital Thumbprint program is here. We’re committed to helping young people and families achieve, thrive, and belong in today’s digital world. Head to the link in bio to explore resources you can use at home. #SaferInternetDay #DigitalThumbprint #NoSocialHate

Tour De Pride is Optus’ guide to the places and spaces where LGBTQIA+ pride has lived, fought and flourished. In 1978, what began as a night of celebration and peaceful protest in support of global queer rights was met with violence and mass arrests right here in Kings Cross. This dark moment became a turning point, igniting decades of activism that reshaped LGBTQIA+ rights in Australia. Today, we look back with 78er Kate on this location, honouring the bravery of the 78ers who marched for visibility and justice. Join @itzrainingmen , Optus’ official Pride Guide, explore more of Sydney's queer history on her tour.
