TeZ usa la tecnologia come mezzo per esplorare le relazioni percettive e sinestetiche tra suono, luce e spazio. Veterano della musica elettronica e sperimentale e le sue prime uscite con M.S.B. e DOSERO risalgono ai primi anni '90. Dal 2010 TeZ è un membro permanente della band britannica Clock DVA di Adi Newton e collabora regolarmente con The AntiGroup. I suoi progetti musicali più recenti PRAGMA, SARMUNG e BLACK BAMBOO segnano il ritorno di TeZ alle sue origini ai margini di una musica industriale, ambient e cosmica più viscerale. Le esibizioni elettroniche dal vivo soliste di TeZ, potenziate dal suono spazializzato ambisonico ed acusmatico, sono viaggi in territori sonori inesplorati attraverso registrazioni sul campo, sequenze analogiche ipnotiche e manipolazioni elettroacustiche. Maurizio Martinucci (aka TeZ) is an Italian musician and interdisciplinary artist, living and working in Amsterdam, who has collaborated with, amongst others, Adi Newton, Scanner, Kim Cascone, Saverio Evangelista, Taylor Deupree, Fabio Orsi, Saverio Rosi, Sonia Cillari, Chris Salter, Honor Harger, Luca Spagnoletti, Joe Drive and Domenico Sciajno. He uses technology as a means to explore perceptual and synesthetic relationships between sound, light and space. TeZ is a veteran of electronic and experimental music and his early releases with M.S.B. and DOSERO date back to the early 90’s. Since 2010 TeZ has been a permanent member of Adi Newton’s seminal British band Clock DVA and a regular contributor with The AntiGroup.
