Worked on a bunch of elements for a lights festival a few months back. Been cleaning up folders of renders and thought it would be a shame to not share this reaction diffusion content.
This was projected on the Christchurch Arts Center for Illuminate Lights Festival 2024.

Was great to throw some light over this stage by @lauren_daance , @brutal.fairy and @bukabazooka for the charity gig, Metamorphosis. Tried a new technique with overlaying a negative photo of the stage right inside resolume which highlights the beautiful shiny paintings on the stage.
Good to funnel some cash towards suicide prevention. More editions of this gig in Wellington, Wanaka and Dunedin if you live elsewhere!

We actually worked on some of this content a year ago, so it was awesome being able to see it brought to life.
On the second clip, you can see some experimental work we did with using a drawing tablet to get people to draw on the stage live. It was really fun to get friends such as @youngman_prints to come up and have a jam on the tools.
Shouts out to @intrepid_kiwi_ for locking down all the lighting (and supporting me) and to @cuplaser to coming along to learn about the craft hands on and apply his graphic design skills to a new area.

Looking back at SYNCHRONICITY now that things are calming down, I reckon me and @vision_chips smashed it.
Experimental techniques succeeded:
- AI generated stage elements
- VJing on multiple computers at one using NDI
Thanks to the amazing multitalented @trivialmike who was officially there as lighting and lasers but went beyond with their support
And thanks to @salt4lifee for coming on board and learning heaps to project on the second stage.
Chur to @lauren_daance for building so I may project. Maybe next time we double the size of the frisbee though?
