The ash flies, the flames curl and glazes do all sorts of strange and wonderful things. A new mix of some shino did some mad bubbles, as if the pot had been on a quick trip to the moon and Venus and back again to earth without anyone noticing

Things happen in fire and ash that don't in electric sealed chambers.
Subtle things and violent drippy things and surprises of chemical and biological extravagance.
Tending to the gods of the flames, as they lick their way through the chamber of the kiln, feels like doing magic to me - a natural-born pyromaniac.

I love this colour and texture so much
It's like the feeling of the deep ocean
Where sharks meander slowly and whales dive to sniff out their secret homes far from the human eye
I think it's not food safe so no bowls or cups to take your daily sustenance into the fishy realms

Further away from the flames so less surface action + no glaze - this is just the clay itself. but still fiery in some way, with felt sense clues of the phoenix process it's walked it's way through
