We have had the craziest and genuinely most amazing time hosting Opn Tble together for the past 3 years, and it felt truly special to close this chapter on (basically) the three-year anniversary of us starting it!!!!
Thank you to everyone who has come over the years, big ups to Seán for always managing to capture the obligatory monthly photo of Sophia serving food, and panic not!!!!!! For this is not the end!!!!!!!

We had a gorgeous time at our final monthly supper club at the @rumpusroom_ . It was truly a really special one, thank you to those who came and gave such attention and insight. We’re also really proud of the whole Opn Tble project.

Opn Tble is a monthly creative artist-focused supper club, est. 2022. Come along and share an idea or piece of work over a meal and chats with other creative folk hosted by Sophia Archontis & Seán Talbot. This event is the final Opn Tble supper club, and is a special collaboration with SPLINTR Festival! It’s going to be a special one and we can’t wait to share it with you. All food will be vegan and nut-free, if you have any other requirements let us know and we will try our best to accommodate needs. Please let us know if you have any allergens. Ticket price is £12 and includes a meal, but if this price is a barrier please get in touch and we have a limited number of lower price spots, no questions asked.
About Opn Tble:
Opn Tble has been an ongoing community arts project by Seán Talbot and Sophia Archontis. Established in 2022 at Neighbourhood wholefoods shop and running mostly monthly over nearly three years, it is a creatively minded regular dinner party where the guests have the opportunity to share their creative practice in a relaxed social setting. Opn Tble has collaborated with GACO, been funded by the RCS Make it Happen fund and had an exhibition at Govanhill Baths.
Seán Talbot is a performance and community artist and theatre producer. Spread across Ireland, Scotland and soon London, his work spans performance, writing, video/sound art and community events. He is a founding member of Opn Tble and Mouthsounds Collective among other things.
Sophia Archontis is a multimedia artist originally from Cyprus, now based in Glasgow, Scotland. Her work spans poetry, noise/sound art, photography, and music, and she has been featured in publications Tangerine Dream, From Glasgow to Saturn, as well as exhibitions Urban Coincidence and off-page. She is also a resident on stations Sunny G Radio and Radio Buena Vida, and is one half of Opn Tble as well as the host of the monthly night Electronic Experimentations.

It’s bittersweet to say but here is our final regular creative supper club taking place Monday 25th Aug at @rumpusroom_ !
Opn Tble has been an amazing project for the past 3 years but Seán and Sophia have decided to close it out and to be moving on to exciting other projects. This August is the last of our regular intimate monthly supper clubs taking place at Rumpus Room. If you’ve been curious for a while this is the time! We’ve been mad busy so not loads of notice on this event, so please share with your mates who might be interested.
If you’re devastated to miss this one, you’re in luck, as it’s not quite the end. We’re really excited to partner with @floscollective_ to do a proper final send off at @splintrfestival in October… more details to come.
