About a year ago, Nick and I decided to embark on a fresh journey, leaving our old aliases behind and becoming 1TK & Operator P. We spent countless hours talking music history and sharing records, which eventually led to us teaming up with innovation as our focus.
After three months of crafting unique sample palettes, we set out to create three tracks that could stand the test of time. First came “Paulie 96,” followed by “1 Putt Shooter,” and now, we’re proud to present our latest release with @deadbeats one of the biggest labels not just in Toronto, but across the west.

Crimson Venom strikes with precision, dripping in 2-step grit and late-night swagger. Where Ice Cold delivered the freeze, this one brings the burn, a darker counterpoint that slithers through the system with sharp percussion, heavy low-end, and a touch of venom in the details. Written in the same spirit that fuels 9D5Dance, its equal parts danger and finesse...the sound of two producers pushing their retail saga deeper into the underground.

With “1102,” the duo continues their retail saga, dialing in more 2-step business with a wink and a shuffle. Named after a mysterious code scrawled on a break room schedule somewhere behind the Orange Julius, this one blends crisp drums, sweet textures, and just enough tang to leave a taste behind. It’s fruity, it’s cheeky, and it sticks like syrup on a price gun.
Still thawing out from last weekend at Electric Island, sun on our backs, beers in hand, bass in our veins. We came in cool, left ‘em shivering… and now the frostbite’s official 🍻🍻
Forged in the frozen food aisle and inspired by Sub-Zero’s grip, “Ice Cold” channels glacial 2-step and frosty low-end pressure built for tiled floors and security camera footage. Rumour has it this one was sculpted during a shift change behind the Eaton Centre’s food court, just steps from the Cinnabon. Sharp, slick, and deadly calm, it’s the sound of two producers plotting their mall gig breakthrough. Cold today, but something venomous is stirring just beyond the heat lamps.

Built by two garage heads scheming on a daytime gig at the Eaton Centre, the track fuses bold 2-step pressure with playful samples and a proper old-school flex. Somewhere between the food court and the fitting room, youll hear a familiar voice claiming the systems 5,000 watts - a nod to local folklore and even louder ambitions.
