Made my way down to Silver City and I stayed at the historic @murrayhotel.nm — built back in 1938 and still full of old charm right in the middle of downtown.
Spent the weekend wandering through the historic streets, checking out all the local art, grabbing coffee from cozy little cafes, finding good beer spots, and stopping for pastries way more than once.
I also got to experience the @tourofthegila up close, which was incredible to see in person with the mountains and desert surrounding the race routes.
And if you’ve never been down to the Gila region… the nature alone is worth the drive. Massive landscapes, winding roads, the Gila wilderness, and finally seeing City of Rocks State Park in person felt like stepping onto another planet.
I actually went to university in Silver City, so getting to come back always feels a little special. One of those places in New Mexico that will always feel familiar no matter how much time passes.

Making great beer takes clean, plentiful water, and we partner with local breweries to tell the story of how beer and water are connected to the forests around us.
When snow and rain fall on healthy forests, the soil soaks it up, naturally filters it, and slowly releases clean water into our watersheds. That water becomes groundwater, rivers, drinking water, and ultimately—beer. When forests thrive, our water does too…and that’s something worth raising a pint to! 🍻
Not only do breweries help us tell the story, they support our work!
