Eight creators were selected from more than 100 applicants for this first-ever class. This free program provides six months of mentorship, production and maker gear, travel to an LA shoot week, audience growth support, and Q&A sessions with established STEM creators, all culminating with a spotlight at Open Sauce 2026.

Sauceathon is coming to Utah! In partnership with OSH Cut, we will be hosting a Sauceathon from February 28 - March 1st, 2026 in the Salt Lake City area.
What are Sauceathons?
Sauceathons are 24 hour hackathon-style events where contestants work in teams alongside top YouTube STEM creators to develop rapid solutions to unique software and hardware challenges. Each Sauceathon begins with the reveal of the secret engineering challenge, and ends with a lighthearted competition where participants show off their work.
How can you participate?
You can apply to participate in this Sauceathon at /sauceathon/. You may apply as an individual or with a group, however each member of a group must submit their own application.
