Tomorrow is May 17 -- International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, and Transphobia.
We mark this day because the work of creating safe, affirming spaces is still very much in progress. LGBTQIA+ people still face discrimination at work, in hiring, and in workplaces that say the right things but do not always follow through.
At OPEN Foundation, this day is a reminder of why we exist and who we are accountable to.
If you are an employer: today is a good day to look at your policies, not just your Pride Month content calendar.
If you are a job seeker: you deserve workplaces where this day feels unnecessary. We are working on it with you.

Transform is OPEN Foundation's program for LGBTQIA+ job seekers who are done navigating the job market alone.
You get one-on-one resume coaching. A mentor who has actually been where you are. Introductions to employers we have already vetted -- not just whoever put a rainbow on their website in June. And a cohort of people going through the same thing at the same time, which matters more than most programs admit.
