Heyyy im Victoria J. Smith I am the 2nd Assistant Director for the Open Gym production as well as one of the writers of the show. I’m 21 years old and attend Montclair State University as a Film and Television major. I am so honored to be a part of this project and can’t wait for months of hard work come to life. Isabelle “Izzy” Conklin was born for filmmaking after her parents named her after a character from a movie. In her years of being in the B.F.A. Film and Television undergraduate program at Montclair State University, she has produced and assistant director many projects, including a finalist for 2024 Coca Cola Refreshing Films. Izzy has co-senior produced many news specials at Montclair including Arizona Stories:
Border, Water and Politics, FOCUS:
Democracy: Our Election and award winning FOCUS: Food. She is currently the Senior Director of Content Programming at Hawk+, which is Montclair State University’s streaming service and the very first collegiate streaming service. At Hawk+, she also produces and hosts a series that showcases student films.
