Calligraphy Growth Circles has been described to me as an IMPACT-DRIVEN COMMUNITY, and when I heard that, I literally lit up. 🔥
Someone who has been following Sundays Dawn since its very beginning shared how she has seen CGC grow into more than just a space where people learn calligraphy together.
And how true that is!
The people here aren’t simply learning to write pretty letters for themselves. There is always a deeper WHY.
▶️ A desire to use what they are learning for others.
▶️ To write words that encourage, bless, comfort, and speak meaningfully into someone else’s life.
▶️▶️ And YET, in the very process of learning, there has also been so much healing.
Some came to calligraphy while recovering from a traumatic season. Some were navigating health challenges, emotional exhaustion, mental breakdowns, or moments when life simply felt too loud and overwhelming.
They needed an avenue to write, to slow down, to breathe.
That intentional slowing down, pen on paper, stroke by stroke, became a gentle refuge.
I am deeply grateful to have journeyed with, and to continue journeying alongside, these precious ones who choose to learn calligraphy for themselves, to grow personally, and to offer their words as gifts for others.
This January’s CGC in-person calligraphy playdate on 24 Jan was such a joy!
A time to deepen our understanding and application of water brush calligraphy through color blending and learning how to use the water brush with greater intention.
More than that, it gave us space to hear from one another and to share authentically.
CGC is truly a community I am so, so grateful to be building, and I am deeply blessed by every single individual here 🥹❤️
Can’t wait for how 2026 will shape each of us and am here for all that is to come!
