Today I’d like to bring your attention to this amazing project I had the honour to be apart of, organized by
@b_bootyyy and
@pumpkin.illustrations and aimed to lend a helping hand to Palestinian families in need.
I think it goes without saying that what we’ve been witnessing for the past year is an authentic tragedy and my heart breaks for every single soul who’s life has been taken away by Israel and for those who are still holding on despite everything. I’ve been trying to use my platform to help as much as possible, either by donating, training my algorithm to keep showing me pro-Palestine content and boycotting zionist organizations, and I know of many people who have been doing the same… but I also see that many people are completely indifferent to the current situation despite being aware of it and having the power to do something. To these people I just want to say that I know how easy it is to look away, to pretend like they live in a different world than our own, but they need every single one of us, and every single one of us can help them. Doing the right thing doesn’t always have to be difficult; in this case it only takes a bit of attention and engagement. I hope this post reaches as many people as possible and I hope anyone who may find themselves reading this takes action to make a difference in the life of these people.
