Most marketing talks about how great the business is. Fast. Professional. High quality. Friendly team. Your customer is really thinking: Will this make my life easier Will this make me feel calmer, safer, more confident Will this fix the thing I am stressed about Emotion led marketing starts with them, not you. What do they care about What keeps them awake What do they wish someone would just sort out for them When you speak to those feelings, your offer makes sense without a hard sell. Facts and features are still useful, but they come second. First you show that you understand what it feels like to be in their position. If you’re running Meta ads without the pixel installed, your ads have no idea who is clicking, who is converting or who is actually interested. Most businesses are busy, but not all of them are moving forward. Real progress comes from the habits that actually make a difference: following up, building simple systems, collecting reviews and staying consistent. Trends and fancy posts might look good, and i’m not saying they CAN’T work, but they won’t grow your business on their own. Ask yourself, was the time I spent adding all these graphics to this reel worth it? Are the followers I got through jumping on this trend my target audience? I know people with less than 1k followers who are killing it with their business, they are consistent with their systems, focus on the people who buy and don’t waste time with vanity metrics (followers, likes) The small, repeatable actions are what bring in steady customers and real results. Static posts look good on your grid but they won’t grow your account. If you want new followers and real reach, you need formats Instagram actually pushes out: reels, carousels with music, and consistent engagement. Keep your reels under 1 minute long (20-30 seconds is the sweet spot), cut out any empty space, and have something changing on the camera every 3 seconds. With carousels, solve a problem or tell a story. Anything to keep people swiping to the end. Most of your Instagram followers never see your feed posts, but they do watch your stories. Stories are where trust is built, decisions are made and where your warmest audience hangs out. Talk to the camera, share real moments, make things interactive and let people see the human behind the business. Try to avoid sharing your latest new feed post. People will get bored - they go to your stories for extra stuff, not the posts they can already find on your feed. Too much of this can put people off.
