There is a piece of labradorite set between two ferns on this sterling silver ring made by me. I’ve been teaching myself how to use big steel stamps, I’ve never really used stamps before now and I must say I had a lot of fun using a 4 pound sledge hammer to knock this impression of a fern into the silver. IMO Using a sledge hammer can be highly therapeutic unless your fingers get in the way. I was practicing on this piece of silver and it turned out really pretty so I decided to make it into a ring. I think my technique can be improved upon but for a first time stamp gal I am happy with this one… Worn by my fiancé Marcus in the last picture.

my version of an arrowhead pendant - Crazy Lace Agate with a small Opal up top, stamped with flowers and bezel set inside Sterling Silver. Made by me. I wanted to post pictures of this when it was fully finished ( I still will ) but now I’ve started polishing it I realize how much I like the raw unfinished quality of the metal in these photos.
