Since embarking on his venture into DJ’ing in the Meanjin scene, @easymoneydondy has had the opportunity to be on the bill to support some incredible artists such as Interplanetary Criminal, Miley Serious, Paula Tape, and SWIM. While also showcasing the Dondy DJ experience at Wildlands and Laneway festival.Dondy’s sound is inspired from his growing up around RNB and Hip-Hop, as well as heavy percussions. Dondy creates a space of nostalgia and rhythm - constantly genre blending and keeping the mix interesting. Expect a set full of fun dubs that will be sure to keep your feet moving.Dondy will be playing at OPAL 003 from 12:30 - 1:30Visual design @getlivd

@xeimma is a Meanjin-based event curator and DJ, organising and playing parties across Australia & North America.She enjoys creating uplifting and atmospheric dance experiences, exploring the ethereal and pretty side of electronic music. Her thoughtful selections offer a mix of vibrant dance floor fillers and moments of serene ambience and bliss. @sonnyobrien is an interdisciplinary artist mixing forms into a gooey, iridescent mess of brilliant collage. Fusing photographic sampling, digital design and an anachronistic mingling of cultural references, there’s an order in his chaos that feels both reckless and elegant. Colour is an obvious inspiration, both the subversion of abrasive combinations and its absence altogether, in work that hopscotches between being eye popping lurid and classically monochrome.He has a fascination with experimenting in digital and analog mediums, spawning a growing portfolio of music, animations, photography, collage, film and video and generative art. He has released several albums under his own name and the moniker Helioscene spanning across dozens of electronic forms.Sonny will be creating and projecting live visuals all night at OPAL 003Visual design by @getlivd

Opal is an opportunity for me to showcase what I love most about DJing and electronic music: the blending of opposites - hard and soft, light and dark, tension and release. There's something alluring to me about the kind of techno and hard dance music that weaves smooth, sultry vocal samples with fast driving beats, or contrasts soaring light melodies against dark brooding basslines.I'll be closing the night by taking the dancefloor a journey through these opposites, building and releasing suspense, hopefully in a way that is inviting and exciting for newcomers to the techno scene and encourages them to come back for more.Come see @realnikada play 11PM - 12AM tomorrow night!!!

@ppolyharmonyy - a transdisciplinary artist concerned with connecting and building community through living art and excavating sounds beyond audience expectation. Trying to do something here that is definitively queer, living outside of fashioned hetero-capitalisms. Realising that through the music, and through actually embodying the ethos of the underground that I am not simply playing to a crowd. And these audible revolutions are not just so I can on AUX in the club. Instead, via music that has not touched the ear canal of most, I seek to viscerally engage the avant-garde and to uphold the role of the disc jockey, one whose role is to meld audience and performer, breaking down boundaries and travelling to new sonic vistas.polyharmony will be playing at OPAL 002 from 7PM - 8PM
