Cat’s (err…. clown’s?) out of the bag! I could not have asked for a more incredibly special show to celebrate my return to drag than this one. I finally felt the spring and sunshine in my art return after a long period of rain and cloudiness and can not wait to share what I have in my head now that it’s back! Thank you dearly to EVERYONE who came out to see this insane concept of a show (8 songs…… i did 8 songs………) and supporting my re-birth. Producing the Rise Against Me show with @semisweetdrag was such a pleasure and dream come true of a show! The energy of the room was electric, by far the biggest turn out I’ve seen at this venue, and had such a rockstar lineup of trans talent (both on and off stage) that I genuinely cried my eyes out after the show in gratitude for our community. We are the beast and the beast is BEAUTIFUL!

RISE AGAINST ME!: An All-Trans Punk Drag Show is a show produced by Semi Sweet and OPA, consisting of an all-trans cast performing songs from both the band Rise Against and Against Me! on Trans Day of Visibility (March 31st, 2026) at AS220’s Black Box Theater! Tickets are $15, and no one will be turned away for lack of funds. Come act up with us, celebrate trans voices, and support your community all at the same time! Featuring the talent of:

This show will be a full play through of the album with a narrative following OPA’s rebirth, and either can be an exclusively digital submission or a live number with a background video (this can be made for you if needed).
The show will be door split + tip split, and both cast and crew are encouraged to apply! If you have digital/video editing experience, that also could be negotiated and discussed.
Prepare to enter a new era of clowning on the sinister side of life. For centuries, the phrase “OPA!” has been inexplicably present in nearly all cultures worldwide, in almost every context. From an exclamation of joy to warning someone of an unforeseen danger, to punctuating a playful mishap, one underlying cause is known: it is an interjection that crosses language barriers to convey an outburst of the human experience. Expect outbursts galore from OPA, in all of these senses and more.
The reign of Fobe is over, and I bid you good day. Come join the cabaret with me and prepare for a strange and terrible journey. If nothing else, sit back and enjoy the show...
