For me, I’ve realised that there is no perfect balance and honestly, I don’t even think “balance” looks the same for everyone. It’s subjective. It shifts. It depends on what you value, what season of life you’re in, and what actually makes you feel fulfilled.
For some, balance might mean equal time for work and love. For others, it might mean going all in on their craft for a period of time, knowing their relationships will understand and hold space for that. And sometimes, balance isn’t even about time, it’s about presence. Being fully where you are, even if everything else feels uneven.
For me, its intense, and sometimes exhausting but it also gives me such a feeling of high! It’s choosing my work even when it demands everything, and still choosing love even when I have nothing left to give. It’s learning that passion isn’t always glamorous- it’s discipline, sacrifice, and showing up on the days when no one is watching because remember why you started in the first place? Its Yours and so you LEAD!
Love, to me, isn’t just the romance. It’s the people who stay, the ones who understand partnership, the silence between the notes, the distance, the late nights, the constant movement. It’s being seen not just for the highlights, but for the in-between moments.
And life… life is happening somewhere in all of this. In the flights, the rehearsals, the stage, the quiet mornings, the self-doubt, the growth. I’m still figuring it out. Still learning how to hold space for all of it without losing myself in the process.
But if there’s one thing I know, it’s this:
I want a life where I don’t have to choose between love and my work.
I want both. And I’m willing to build it, piece by piece.
