hola ! i’m currently in sitges, spain lying on a beach for my thirtieth birthday drinking sangria and waiting for the lunar eclipse this evening. on the coastal train from barcelona, i listened to songs that carried me through my twenties and started reflecting on the last decade.
in my twenties, i learned how to love, felt heartbreak, formed friendships, and lost some too. i took risks (good and bad), treated life like a playground, and rarely paused to think about the quieter yet heavier parts, the ones people don’t often talk about. i grieved the loss of life of those i loved, faced trauma, and came to understand that tomorrow isn’t promised. it’s taken time, real time, to grow into myself, but in this very moment i’m content with who i’ve become and how i’ve learned to prioritize myself and most importantly to take care of myself.
here’s to moving forward. to making room for change, staying grounded, and continuing to build a life that feels honest and my own.

felt the birthday love hard this year. thank you to anyone that wished me a happy birthday and thank you to those who celebrated with me.
