Our Listening Circle is a shared listening experience for people who love music — any music. It’s like a book club, but for songs. This time there’s a theme: ‘Movement’.
Together we step out of our streaming bubbles to encounter music we might never have heard otherwise. Whether you’re a lifelong music nerd or just someone who wants to hear something new, you’re welcome.
Each participant brings one song that they feel is connected to the theme. We listen together on Koda’s sound system, giving each track our full attention. Afterward, we talk about what we heard: what moved us, surprised us, or stood out to us.
How it works:
Pick a song, and bring it on vinyl, cd or usb (or make sure it can be streamed at Koda through Tidal or Youtube).
The song can be max. 7 minutes long.
All genres are welcome.
We will ask you to introduce the song beforehand (which is optional).
We listen to it together in silence, with the possibility for discussion afterwards.
If you don’t want to bring a song and just want to come and listen, that’s also fine!
Looking forward to hear your picks!
@unttld.rtdm blessed the @koda_010 listening space sunday with some really nice performances.
First @melo_______d warmed up the decks and tuned our frequencies
@henrik._.wendt had us floating, drifting then bouncing
@iinterlaced melted our faces with one of his rhythmic ego-death performances.
Then @olivolivmusic closed the day with intricate, flowy-then-choppy, synth wizardry.
Thank all of you for coming, organizing, listening (with eyes closed) and sharing this experience. (+ so to all mothers)
@fjaler.music was playing the first time I ever visited @koda_010 . I think.
Now through playing together and sharing our musical projects I got to know him on a more personal level. Last week I went to his house and took these photos while we listened to music and spoke plants, parents, meditation, time and work. I felt very welcome.
Portraits of my dear friend @besburobes when he was over in Rotterdam a while ago. We were looking at new buildings rising up as quick as newly rendered objects on the periferie. I remember my old laptop couldn’t handle the games i wanted to play and I’d have to put my vision settings so low I’d get killed by things I couldn’t even see. Poke a hole in me, Swiss cheese. I miss thee.
OPEN MIXER JAM + PRODUCTION FEEDBACK CIRCLE
Date: 25/04/26
Time: 14:00-18:00
Entry: Free, RSVP required
Come join us for an afternoon of jamming and project sharing.
We’ll begin with a short introduction as to tune our frequencies and plug in to have us a sonic adventure. Every sound source is welcome to join. Bring whatever you have.*
Afterwards we’ll form a feedback circle where we’ll listen to each others’ demos or projects and give feedback. We are building a little community of music makers from all genres and niches to come together in a real physical space rather than from behind our avatars.
*If it cannot be plugged into a mixer you might want to bring something to amplify the sound (but the didgeridoo we had one time did great without one).
Went on an impromptu trip to London with Toine last week. This city keeps on going and going and this, combined with the rain, made my eye look for textures and vibrance.
Big shout to @shai.space for making time to hang out and talk listening spaces.
Ended the trip with an @neue_grafikk album session that blew me away. I’ll be listening to this album and thinking of this trip for a while I think.
Thanks @toewan_

The single Epiloog is a companion to the self titled first album, stervelingen.
It concludes and resolves themes that are present in the album and opens up for current sensibilities.
