Big Hug Records is a new community based compilation series and concert promoter, striving to bring artists together for a cause we care about. All proceeds from Big Hug Records Volume One will go to Lambda Legal, an American civil rights organization that focuses on lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender communities as well as people living with HIV/AIDS through impact litigation, societal education and public policy work.

The ep is a stunning introduction to a songwriter who seems to know the secrets of the universe already. Hannah has a way of spinning up songs that seemingly encapsulate lifetimes within them. Their work is lyrically abundant despite being so succinct, feeling more like a hazy memory of a song you heard in a dream or the strange comfort of finding home within yourself, after all this time. I whole-heartedly believe that Hannah’s songs are healing.
