If you've seen the movie, you'll know that it takes you on a journey, one of the things that made it feel that way is the meticulous attention we paid to Sound. Everything from how the dialogue was recorded, to how the sound design and foley was crafted, and finally the MUSIC.
The music, my department, consists of the Score and Soundtracks; I composed the entire Score from scratch under the exceptional guidance of our visionary director @okechukwuoku and Produced 3 out of the 4 Soundtracks Originally made for the film.

It hasn’t been easy. The film came with battles and storms. But I’m facing every one of them until it fulfills its purpose. This is not just our work. We have God, and this is His project.

A little backstory about 'Mmeri Ọnwu':
Composition completed and written on the 26th of February 2018 in Festac Town, Lagos for the 'De Harmelodic Ensemble, Owerri' at the request of Mr. Irinaeus Ebinedia.
Audio recorded on the 10th of August, 2024 at Trinity College, Onitsha. With an amazing ensemble of singer from 2 outstanding choirs: @singspiration_chorale_ng and The Amalgamated Choir, Sacred Heart Parish, Odoakpu, Onitsha.
Video was shot on the 12th of August, 2024 in Onitsha and on the 28th of March, 2026 in Abuja, respectively.
So it basically took 8 years, over a 100 people and several cities to bring this song to life.
What a journey!
