Got a car, some time, and a soft spot for animals? We could use your help!
Volunteer drivers play a big role in helping animals get the care they need. You could be transferring animals between animal centres to help them find loving families, driving them to medical appointments, or picking up much-needed donations and supplies.
Weāre currently looking for volunteers who are available during the week between 7 or 8 a.m. and 6 p.m.
It is a flexible way to give back, whether you are up for a quick local trip or something a bit longer. Plus, you get to meet great people and make a real impact along the way.

Antonio is 1-years-old with a big personality and even bigger energy. He is playful, friendly, and always ready to go whether that is running around outside or finding his next toy to carry around.
Stuffies are definitely his thing. He often has one with him, especially when he is feeling excited or on the move. He is looking for an active home that can keep up with his energy and help guide him as he continues to learn and grow. Antonio may do well with another dog with proper introductions, but he is looking for a cat and small animal free home, as he can get overly excited and fixated around them.
If you are looking for a fun, enthusiastic companion who will keep life interesting, Antonio might be your guy.
Come meet him at the Ontario SPCA and Humane Society Lennox and Addington Animal Centre.

Happy tails from the Ontario SPCA and Humane Society Orangeville and District Animal Centre!
"Bentley settled in quickly and has claimed his own pillow and blanket on the couch. Considering his shyness at the shelter, we are surprised and so pleased to have a friendly fur baby who is both vocal and very playful. He is a joy to have with us!! Thank you all for your help in helping us find such a wonderful companion."
We love hearing stories of adopted animals truly getting settled in and letting their purrsonalities shine! Thank you to Bentley's family for giving him a wonderful home š

This past week, 35 cats safely arrived at Ontario SPCA and Humane Society animal centres through two Northern transfers!
On May 7, 22 cats arrived at our animal centres in Orangeville, York Region, and Durham Region. A second transfer on May 9 brought 13 more cats, arriving at our animal centres in Sudbury and Muskoka.
These transfers help give animals new opportunities to find loving homes where people are waiting to adopt, while also making space to allow our partners in the North to help more animals. A huge thank you to Second Chance Pet Network, the Northern Reach Transport Team, and everyone involved in helping these cats safely make the nearly 20-hour journey.
Keep an eye on our adoption page to meet these cats once they become available for adoption! ontariospca.ca/adopt
