PHASE 2 PHAE - ARTIST REVEAL DEANO - @deanoknowledge DOGSTARR - @dogst4rr South African artist @deanoknowledge grew up immersed in his local music scene, shaping a diverse sound that moves between house and techno. Beyond producing solo EPs on labels like Hardgroove, Symbolism, AWRY and Sungate, he runs the label and events platform Knowledge Imprint, known for pushing forward both emerging talents and respected veterans. Deano is a resident at Cape Town’s Mødular Club and a regular at Johannesburg’s TOY TOY. Known for a versatile selection spanning house to techno, he’s played across South Africa’s leading festivals and taken his sound to clubs in Berlin, Tokyo, Lisbon and beyond. Johannesburg’s DOGSTARR transitioned from his goth roots to underground dance music after attending his first rave in the early 90’s. This led him to House Afrika records where he started buying vinyls, borrowing DJ gear to learn how to mix and eventually securing a residency at The Foundation in Rosebank. Today he is the co-founder of TOYTOY and half-owner of AND CLUB, SAs leading techno home. He has also graced many festivals and clubs around the country over the years. When it comes to music Dogstarr is the wildcard, playing what he labels ‘fucked up party music’. We say that whatever it is, it’s guaranteed to put you into orbit. PHASE 2 PHASE - ARTIST REVEAL JAIDE - @itssjaide AESKA - @aeska10 Aeska is a force in the South African underground, known for her fast, hypnotic, high-pressure techno that keeps floors locked from start to finish. A resident at MUUD and ON SITE, she’s built a reputation for precision behind the decks and a sound that hits both deep and relentless. With releases on reputable local and international label alike, her sets are a reflection of her production—driving, immersive, and unapologetically intense. Jaide is a DJ & Producer born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa. She started developing a love and passion for music at a young age as she started out playing drums which influenced her productions and sets including groovy percussions and rhythms. Ever since, she has been constantly pushing her boundaries and is not afraid to express herself through her style of music through high energy, loopy and hypnotic sequences. His music is a collection of lived experiences, inspired not just by the grandeur of festivals or iconic sets, but by fleeting, intimate moments - laughter in club bathrooms, late-night car rides, the weight of bass at dawn. Every mix becomes a tribute to community, friendship, and the joy of existing together in sound. Scars moves at the intersection of fashion and the dancefloor. A model with a sharp visual identity, he channels that same energy into his sets — blending dark disco with seductive, late-night techno.
