The recent passing of Bobby Caldwell reminded me of this unreleased video for “Secretly”, off my most recent solo album “Nobody Has To Know” which dropped in 2018.
Bobby Caldwell has always been someone I idolized and he influenced me a lot for this album, but not especially sonically speaking.
Only a few know that Bobby’s eponym first album has been released in Japan under the name of “Evening Scandal” which perfectly described the concept of my album, (secret lovers meeting at night). I almost snatched that name actually, but finally decided to settle for something of my own.
In this video you can briefly see me channeling my inner Bobby Caldwell, with the mysterious hidden vibes and the hat… R.I.P Bobby Caldwell 🕯 and thank you for the inspiration 🙏

One of his most sought-after works is the ‘Chinoiseries collections’ an off-kitted love for J Dilla and traditional Chinese samples across 3 volumes and 100 tracks.
On 20.09, Onra joins ‘Yeti & Friends’ party as part of a double headline act.

Even in my wildest dreams, I could have never imagined what happened last season. I got to see my favorite NBA team four times, after watching both games in Paris — where I even had the chance to meet the whole team — the @Pacers went all the way to the Finals for the first time, so I wanted to go to Indianapolis to be part of it.
As a fan since 1994, I had to wait 31 years to see my team reach this level of competition. And if you don’t follow the NBA, well… it ended in the worst possible way.
Bittersweet, as they call it.
Still, I can’t believe any of this happened for real — the Pacers playing in Paris, the incredible run to the Finals, getting invited by the franchise, meeting all the players, going back to Indy to watch the Finals and then the nightmare ending...
Even in my wildest dreams.......
